  • Summer Schools

    JMI is dedicated to education and learning. Our world famous and hugely popular week long Summer Schools courses in Yiddish language, Yiddish song and Klezmer take place every August in Central London.

  • Joe Loss Lectureship

    Established by JMI and now based at SOAS University of London, the Joe Loss Lectureship supports advanced academic and practice-based research in Jewish music, alongside a scholarship scheme for MA and PhD students.

    For over four decades, JMI has led the way in hosting academic conferences that explore the diverse world of Jewish music, bringing together scholars, artists, and communities from around the globe.
